At SMGC we have a number of diverse shooting sports to appeal to a wide range of visitors to our club. Below are the various SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (SIG), and within each group you will find a number of activities in which we hope you will want to take part. Each section has their own event calendar as well as specific group news & announcements. The CALENDAR link above contains ALL club events. If you are interested in participating in an event, but don't know how the event operates, you'll find descriptions of all the activities along with equipment and ammo requirements. Once you familiarize yourself with these activities you are encouraged to come out and participate! We welcome newcomers as well as seasoned shooters. Check the event to see if it's Open to the Public or strictly for Members Only.
Airgun - pneumatic rifles from bench rest and field targets
Archery - static and 3-D courses
CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) - high-power (AR-15, M1A) and Vintage military rifle matches
Gallery - .22 caliber matches
Handgun - training, target practice, action matches, and steel plate shooting
Rifle - big/small bore rifles
Shotgun - skeet, trap, and 5-stand
Training - NRA, DNR, Rangemaster and MCRGO instructors offer a variety of courses
Women - special women-only events

General Membership Hours
Saturday & Sunday- Lower Range (Rifle & Pistol) - 10:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday- Upper Range (Skrap, Skeet & Trap*) - 9:00am - 2:00pm
Monday (May - Nov)- Lower Range (Action Pistol Pit)-3:00pm - 9:00pm
Tuesday (May - Nov)- Upper Range (Skrap, Skeet & Trap*) - 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Thursday- Upper Range (5-Stand, Skrap, Skeet & Trap*)-6:00pm - 9:00pm
Everyday- Airgun Range- 10:00am - 9:00pm or sunset (whichever is earlier)

Absolutely No Firearms Allowed
Upper Range (Manual Trap Machine)-10:00am - 9:00pm or sunset (whichever is earlier)
Only used if the Skeet & Trap fields and the Pistol Pit are not in use.
Archery Range with Platform- 10:00am - 9:00pm or sunset (whichever is earlier)
3D Archery Range has a separate schedule and fee - see the Club Calendar.
In addition to these hours, General Members have access to the MEMBERS ONLY events listed in the club calendar.
* All Skeet, Trap & 5 Stand events are open to the public.
